On The Mark ABA offers the following School Based services:
Direct ABA to students
Direct school-based ABA therapy services may include a Certified Behavior Technician working with the student in the classroom to implement individualized interventions under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Services may be initiated by the school or parents and may be covered by the student’s insurance plan.
IEP/Eligibility Meeting support
IEP support is available through private pay for children with an Individualized Education Program (IEP). A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) will review your child’s IEP and provide professional feedback on current goals, behavioral needs, and areas where additional support may be beneficial.
Our BCBA can also attend IEP meetings to help parents better understand behavioral goals and recommended supports. When appropriate, additional behavioral assessments may be conducted and the findings presented at an IEP or eligibility meeting to help the school team make informed decisions based on the child’s individual needs.

Consultation
Consultation services begin with an initial two-hour consultation with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to discuss a student’s behaviors, skill deficits, and individual needs. The BCBA may recommend ABA strategies and behavioral interventions that school staff can implement in the classroom to support the student’s learning, behavior, communication, and social skills.
Depending on the consultation and the student’s needs, recommendations may include school-based ABA services, classroom support, a Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA), and/or the development of a Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP).

Teacher Training
Teacher and school staff training will be available to schools and delivered by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Training can be provided for teachers, paraprofessionals, and other school staff using evidence-based ABA methods and strategies that can be applied in the classroom.
Training topics may include understanding the functions of behavior, antecedent strategies, positive reinforcement and token economy systems, supporting self-stimulatory (stimming) behaviors, early language development, and implementing effective behavior-support strategies.
Training may be provided as a one-time professional development session or over a specified period of time based on the school’s needs. Our goal is to give educators practical ABA strategies that help create supportive learning environments and better meet the individual behavioral, communication, and developmental needs of students.

Independent FBA/BIP writing
A Board Certified Behavior Analysis can conduct a Functional Behavior Assessment to determine the function of a maladaptive behavior of a student and write a Behavior Intervention Plan to be implemented in order to decrease the behavior, this will often be included in a consult but may be requested separately when the behavior has been identified.
